During these past weeks I've been working a lot on the new record. It's a weird record that sums a lot of different feelings. It's a pretty dark one, true. Always dark of course.

What can I say, you redefine yourself every months. I tried to inject all the intensity I could and I also wanted to be able to retranscript a bit of my live experience in it.

Most of this album will be based on reworked guitars, bass, max msp and cello as Thècle Joussaud joined me in this adventure. Christophe Bailleau was also on the boat for a track.

We're still working on the end of this story to find an appropriate way to land the 5 first tracks properly. All I can say right now is that there's a 17 min track that was a challenge to make and this is almost done. Think post-rockish ambient. Now comes the always magical time to find a home for this baby.

Following our concert at Botanique for the "Bending Time in Waves" release, I have always been deeply touched by the way Thècle Joussaud's talented cello should really be incorporated in my music.

So I just finished writing an album, Thècle and me are again re-writing parts in order to fully inject the feeling we previously had during this beautiful performance.

The album is atmospheric, harsh, very abrasive and loud too. I think I am satisfied, and soon the amazingly great adventure on finding a good label to release it will be on its way. Well... I won't launch any requests before 2017. We still have plenty to do.

Meanwhile Amute ressigned with Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal for some music in more than 33 cities across the US. Also I wrote a brand new track for a project concerning the new season of "TWIN PEAKS" along with fellas such as Benoit Pioullard.

Je pars dans 36h à Vegas.

Après une bonne saison dans des petits buy in j'ai donc décidé d'investir un total de 1.500€ (+- 1670$) avec une bankroll de 680€ à la base. Je prendrai divers divers buy-in progressifs dirons nous. Le tout en essayant surtout de spotter les bons tournois, bien que notre Sparkledonk (Samuel Bovy) a déjà fait une super sélection.

Le rêve : essayer d'être dans les places payées sur les deux premiers jours sur de faibles buy in (le daily du Orleans à +- 100$ et le daily du Rio à 135 ou 225$) pour essayer d'avoir de quoi faire le monster stack à 1.500$.

Pas de grandes envolées lyriques techniques sur ce blog, juste du ressenti, des photos, des anecdotes du WSOP, des "make America great again". Je suis plus un joueur de feeling qu'un joueur qui vous dira si tel ou tel jour j'avais statistiquement la meilleur main sur un fold equity du low range over call limpé. Ceci sans critiquer mes amis et conseillers du BPC ou du Saphir.

Merci à tous ceux présents hier, ce fût un plaisir de jouer à l'Ancienne Belgique. J'ai commencé à travailler sur mon septième album depuis 2 mois maintenant et les choses avancent.

Hier j'ai reçu un sms de quelqu'un que je n'ai plus vu depuis des années mais qui était dans la salle et qui me disait que c'était bien de voir qu'il y en avait qui continuait à se battre. Heureusement pour moi j'ai mon travail pour pouvoir continuer à jouer.

Ici devrait figurer un article sur la situation des artistes en Belgique.

Ici ne figurera rien de spécial car la gangrène a déjà atteint le coeur, et doucement le rythme de celui-ci diminue.

I'm so honored. Playing on the big stage of the AB has always been a dream for me.

As a Belgian guy, it is my very own Wembley stadium.

I'll be opening solo for the French artist RONE.

This live show will be unique in terms of music, meaning that I'll be playing some pieces of my last album as well as more improvisated parts.

Je suis si honoré. Joué dans la grande salle de l'AB a toujours été un rêve de gosse.

En tant que Belge c'est un peu comme joué à Wembley.

J'ouvrirai donc en première partie de RONE.

Le concert sera unique puisque je serai à nouveau en solo, je jouerai quelques morceaux de mon dernier album ainsi que des parties plus improvisées et dans le ton de la soirée.

In a desire to link aMute and the whole video chabang I've decided to direct a new video each month to get a long the album "Bending Time in Waves".

This month is a focus on the track I've reworked with Eric Craven (Hanged Up, Sackville, Drophead...) who was originaly written for a dance piece performed at the Stuk in Leuven.
